Fat Quarter Fun (Fat Quarter Challenge Club)
Color your quilting world with Fat quarters. Anyone can join in the fun, just bring a fat quarter that fits the theme for the month. The quarters will be bundled and all those who participate will have a chance to win a bundle. Bring as many fat quarters as you want, your name will be entered for every fat quarter you bring. The number of individuals drawn will depend on the number of fat quarter bundles made. Each month there will be a new theme so read your news letter to find out what kind of fat quarter fun is planned and join in the fun. Upon arrival at the meeting just drop your fat quarter/s off at the fat quarter table (day meetings no sooner than 9:30 A.M. please). You will be asked to clearly print your name on a slip of paper for each fat quarter you bring and each slip with your name will be entered in the drawing.

Helpful reminders:

A fat quarter is 18 inches by 20 to 22 inches in size.
Fabric should be 100% cotton
Fabric should be new or unused
Fabric color/print should comply with the theme for the month.

By remembering these points participants have a higher opportunity of getting happy fat quarter bundles.

Throughout or at the end of the year all winners can show the quilts or projects they made using the fat quarters they won. We encourage you to share your work in hopes it excites everyone to play along with us.

FEBRUARY

Wouldn't we all like to be a kid again for just a day?  No worries, play all day and be told we have to take a nap!  Since we can't go back in time, let's have fun bringing children or baby print fabrics.  Pastel children/baby prints or pastel blenders would be wonderful to make the project we have in mind.  It's a cutie!  If you bring a FQ you may also buy the pattern for the project for $1.00.  This money will help defray the cost of materials for the May basket drawing.
